• Update blacklisted Kaspersky AV

**
¿Do you use Kaspersky Internet Security?
**
If you use Windows with this Antivirus and it's not registered you could been blacklisted.
You can use this little script to update it manually without being blacklisted, just unzip it under c:\Windows\KAS (make new folder)
Then use the shortcut to manually update it (recommended once a week).
Download it HERE
• PS3 (aka "The chaos world")

Forget video game violence, Sony Corp.'s new PlayStation 3 delivered a dose of real-world insanity Friday as it hit retail shelves across the country - and sold out moments later. Low supply led to long lines and short tempers outside retail outlets.
Armed thugs Friday robbed a line of people waiting to buy the PlayStation 3 in Putnam, Connecticut, and a man who refused to hand over his money was shot in the chest.
In Palmdale, California, police shut down a Super Wal-Mart Stores outlet after a line of people waiting for the new game console got out of control. In Tysons Corner, Virginia, police fired pepper spray toward a crowd of about 200 people who rushed the locked doors of a Circuit City Stores outlet before it opened.

• C.R.A.P and DRM

Nowadays many manufacturers are selling DRM-integrated devices such iPods and other players, that's why they suck to me, companies do the impossible to sell products that play only their own things, also iPods are difficult to load with songs and their batteries suck so much, you can see this video so you can get the whole idea:

===A quick guide to download anything from MegaUpload/RapidShare by Wieland Kublun.===
Since http://www.anonymouse.org doesn't work anymore for anonymous surfing in Megaupload.com we must first of all search for a valid Proxy in http://www.proxy4free.com/ , the good ones have port **3128** . Megaupload has a country connection-limit and download limits, so when searching for our file first we must enable our proxy in the connection setting in the browser, then we search for the file we want to download, after waiting for ~45 sec. the ''Click here to Download'' button appears, richt click on the button and copy the URL. Now paste the URL in your favorite Download Manager, personally I use FlashGet, Enjoy ! ;-)
** Summary: **
- Download FlashGet (or other)
- Search for a good Proxy in http://www.proxy4free.com/ ( preferible with 3128 port and outside your country)
- Configure your browser (IE/Firefox/Opera) to use the proxy and port you searched for...
- Browse for the file you want to download ( http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=XXXXXXX )
- Wait 45 sec. and right click the Download button to copy the File URL.
- Paste the URL in the Download Manager (FlashGet)
- Enjoy ;-)

• Unix Flavors

AIX IBM Commercial/$ RISC
http://www.ibm.com/servers/aix/
AIX is created and developed by IBM, primarily for their own hardware.
Even among unix flavors, many administrators consider AIX to be quite
different than the others.
A/UX Apple (dead?) Apple
From the Unix FAQ: But I hear Apple has decided to drop A/UX (will go
for AIX now that they're together with IBM on the PPC).
BSDI BSDI Commercial/$ x86/PC
http://www.bsdi.com/
From the BSDI web page: BSDI is the commercial supplier of the BSD/OS
originally developed at the University of California, Berkeley. We
concentrate on delivering and supporting robust, stable BSD/OS powered
internet server software wherever cost effective, reliable and high
performance solutions are required.
FreeBSD FreeBSD Open/Free x86/PC
http://www.freebsd.org
FreeBSD is the most popular free derivitave of the BSD line of Unix.
On top of being powerful and robust, it is open source and
very stable.
HP-UX HewlettPackard Commercial/$ HP (CISC/RISC)
http://www.datacentersolutions.hp.com/2_2_index.html
Created by Hewlett Packard, HP-UX is designed for their own line
of hardware. HP-UX is a commercial version of Unix designed for
high end business applications.
IRIX SGI Commercial/$ SGI
http://www.sgi.com/
Silicon Graphics created IRIX for their own line of hardware. Well known
for their powerful graphics ability, IRIX/SGI can be found developing
many of the special affects found in movies today.
Linux - Open/Free x86/Sparc/more
http://www.linux.org
Linux is probably the most commonly used flavor of unix out there
today. Like the term 'unix', 'linux' has now come to mean any one
of a number of distributions.
Slackware http://www.slackware.org
The first distribution of linux, Slackware has received continued
development and additions since 1991.
Redhat http://www.redhat.com
Redhat is a more commercialized version of Linux. Well known for
its ease of install, RPM package (which allows one command installation
of utilities) and robust support, Redhat is gaining ground in the
work place.
Other distributions: http://www.linux.org/dist/english.html
Minix - Open/Commercial x86/PC/Atari/Amiga/Mac
Minix is an older but stable flavor of unix able to be run on systems
with small hard drives. For older computers lacking power, this may be
a great option.
NetBSD NetBSD Open/Free (almost any hardware)
http://www.netbsd.org
From the NetBSD page: The NetBSD Project is a collective volunteer effort
to produce a freely available and redistributable UNIX-like operating
system. NetBSD runs on a broad range of hardware platforms and is highly
portable. It comes with complete source code, and is user-supported.
NEXTSTEP Apple Commercial/$ x86/HP/NeXT
http://www.apple.com/enterprise/
NeXT is a little known about and little used Unix flavor that is akin
to IRIX in that it is graphic heavy. Often found on NeXT hardware, these
machines are a lot of fun to play with and strong with multimedia.
OpenBSD OpenBSD Open/Free x86/Sparc/more
http://www.openbsd.org
OpenBSD is a spinoff of the Net/FreeBSD projects. The primary focus
seems to be security more than anything.
OSF/1 DEC Commercial/$ DEC
http://www.unix.digital.com/
Now (apparently) called 'Tru64 Unix', OSF/1 is a high end 64 bit version
of unix geared toward large servers and companies.
Solaris Sun Commercial/$/Open x86/Sparc
http://www.sun.com/solaris/
Solaris is Sun's version of unix being developed today. Based on SVR4
rather than BSD (as SunOS was), Solaris is one of the more widely used
flavors of Unix in enterprise networks. Solaris is often used and found
on older Sun hardware for hobbyists as well. Solaris source code is
now available.
SunOS Sun Commercial/$ Sparc/i386
No longer being developed, SunOS is Sun's previous iteration of Unix
based on BSD. Designed for Sun hardware only, it provides a stable
and fairly well supported platform for companies and individuals
alike.
Unixware SCO Commercial/$ x86/more
http://www.sco.com/
Unixware (aka SCO) is a fairly old and infrequently used OS that is gaining
a bit more popularity in recent years.
Ultrix DEC Commercial/$ x86/more
One of DEC's older flavors of Unix, it is no longer being developed
in favor of 'Tru64 Unix'.
UNICOS SGI Commercial/$ Cray
http://www.sgi.com/software/unicos/features.html
Unicos is the primary operating system found on Cray super computers.
Now owned by SGI, Unicos continues to serve SGI's continued development
on the Cray computers.
• A more perfect union

In an age in which private companies make it easy for consumers to shop, manage accounts and request services online, people now expect the same from their governments. Internet-savvy citizens want their governments to act more like businesses, and governments around the globe are rising to the challenge.
With information technology as the enabler, public agencies are giving citizens new tools to access information and services, while at the same time introducing new efficiencies in their own operations.
From implementing free city-wide WiFi networks for municipalities in the United States to helping countries like Bulgaria and Argentina implement national identity systems and e-voting platforms, HP is well positioned to help local and national governments plan and deploy e-government solutions. Based on best practices learned from around the world, the HP e-Government Framework is a portfolio of people, processes and technologies that can help government agencies serve their citizens better. --
• PHP+MySQL Downloads counter little script

Use this simple PHP script for keeping track of the hits a file on your site receives.
** CREATE DATABASE: **
CREATE TABLE downloads (
file VARCHAR(60) NOT NULL,
counter INT UNSIGNED,
PRIMARY KEY (file)
);
** WE CREATE download.php file **
// Create a string containing the header info we'll use to redirect the browser:
$location = "Location: $file";
header ($location);
// Connect to the DB
$db_user = "dbuser";
$db_passwd = "dbpassword";
$db_name = "dbname";
$db = mysql_connect("localhost", $db_user, $db_passwd);
mysql_select_db($db_name, $db);
// Update the downloads table - increment the counter for that page.
mysql_query("UPDATE downloads SET counter=counter+1 WHERE file='$file'",$db);
/* If no row was affected by the last update statement, then there must have been no previous download of this file before, so we just need to add it to the table. We use an INSERT statement to insert the file name and '1' for the number of downloads. */
if (mysql_affected_rows($db) < 1) {
$resultado = mysql_query("INSERT INTO downloads VALUES ('$file', 1)", $db); }
// The final statement closes the connection to the database.
mysql_close($db);
// end of script
**
Usage...**
If you want to reset the counter, you just delete the appropriate rows from the database. So to delete the downloads for all files:
delete from downloads;
+To use the script you can have a download button by creating a form like this:

+Or you can have a text link to the script by including the parameters in the URL:
Ebook Narnia
To show the hits of our file we write an echo:
result = mysql_query("Select hits from downloads where file = 'Narnia';",$db);
echo $result;
